Dear Greg,
I am going on my third injection for my neck next week. My muscles got really stiff last time so my doctor is going to take the amount of sm down since the inflammation lasted 14 days and was way too much. I have not noticed any difference yet. Like you it is impossible for me to hold my neck up without straining. It is so painful I have to wear a cervical collar. The ligaments still kill and the nerve pain is unbearable. I tried to find something for the nerve pain and nothing helps. My doctor is taking it slow. I go every 3 weeks. I am going to a physical therapist to work on the muscles for pain. I pray everyday that this will work for me. I am still nervous about the two people that said they became too tight. It is so difficult because I went for so many dextrose injections (11) to a well know prolotherapist and that did not work. I think it would be easier if I was just starting.
