I have had 6 series of the injections now.... over about 7 months. I have a positive outlook, but I am not seeing any real progress.
At best I have about 10% relief, and that even disappears during flare ups.
Am I wasting money at this point????

Mike ,
Which doctor is it your seeing ?
What are you suffering from ?
How often are you treatments and what are you being injected with ?
Usually treatment can vary depending on what your problem is , prolotherpay seems to work best for SI joints .

Treating for Tietze's Syndrome...... hypermobile ribs popping in and out of the sternum and rib cartilage.
Injections are dextrose and lidocaine.... about every 5 weeks. The doc is here in Florida.

hmm dextrose is not the strongest solution , if I were you I'd try 0.2 cc of sodium morrhuate , if that won't do it then i don't know what to suggest.
also it might not even be the ribs thats the main problem , so I'd get that checked with p.t. or someone who knows the body.
this prolotherapy thing is really not as straightforward as some make out ,nor is it really a cure though some do get lucky , if you need any help feel free to e-mail me, I wish you luck .
peace
