I have just finished getting 9 sessions with dr faber and am waiting to see what happens.

the last 3 sessions invloved calcium and so far it does not seem to be working half as well as the morrhuate .

Beofore each session he has been using Kinesiology to ask my body what solutions will work best for it. Intially it was sm on the neck and thoracic spine but since the alst 3 sessions he's switched to calcium which i find ineffective.

He says that if i were to take it I would get very ill but at the saem time i don;t think calcium is much use at all.

I have finished my treatment and will be returning home, hopefully in that time my body can recuparate and be ready for more sodium morrhuate when / if i return.

Although i think it's good to be prudent i wonder just how reliable this method of Kinesiology testing is for finding the what suits patients best.

Perhaps it's coincidence but the very time he started changing solutions conincided with my appointment time be changed from morinings to afternoon .

comapred to hauser he is does not require you to go on any specific diet but stresses drinking lots of water .

i find him easy going and much down to earth and would recommend him to any one , i'm just not sure about how effective calcium is.

On side note i noticed that Fabers sm soultion is alcohol based as opposed to hausers dextrose one and he also uses a far longer needle :)

I'm not sure if this makes any big differences but
I can say that i felt it going in and taking effect almost instantly, even with the calcium , which was something that did not happen when i went to see hauser.

hope this has been informative and will wait to hear any ones comments

I attended twice a week with 2- 3 day gap between treamtents just to give the immature tissue time to form

Mr G,

I find Faber's method of injecting avery 2-3 days interesting and am wondering what his reason is for doing so. I've had a total of 7 prolotherapy sessions over the last year or so versus your 9 sessions within the past month. I'm also curious as to the injections of calcium. Please tell us why he chose to switch solutions for the last 3 sessions.

I try to keep a very open mind when it comes to medicine and alternative medicine (i.e., modalities like acupuncture are fantastic), but I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to assessing physical problems or physical manifestations of problems with kinesiology. What are your thoughts?

Thanks and I hope you see results SOON!

Hi Mr G,

I am currently seeing doctor Hauser right
now. You said that you saw Hauser before.
I would like to know why you want to
switch doctor. Do you like Hauser?
Did Faber say anything special about his
2-3 days treatment?

Thanks,

Bonnie

this damm thing keeps going awol on me tonight for some reason so here goes..

I have nothing against hauser as person at ,all i know is that i got seriosuly ill while getting treamtent from him with things that i'd never even had a history of previously.

as for shorter treatments, i heard they help people with more serious instability / laxity problems , plus it is quicker too.

he choose calcium becasue he says it works well for him and it's easier on the body because unlike most solutions used it's not an irritant like the dextrose hauser uses or sm .

he also said most poeple eventually become sick after few treamtents of it, what i dont; get about that though is that there's someone on this board ,or has been, whose been getting it for over year ,so go figure , it makes no sense .

I know hauser uses dextrose in his s&m and faber uses alcohol ( he says he tried to get pure )whether this makes any difference is something i want to ask.

I hope i will be able to get s&m again when i go back and might even insist i get it , there is a risk he might be right and i will get ill but if the calcium doesn't work then it might be my only option anyway.

the only problem with this is that i don;t think he would be willing to give it against his advice, we shall see.

Hi Mr G.,

I am just wondering how long it takes to do 9 sessions and how much does it cost? Have you feel any improvement yet?

Thanks,

Bonnie
