After having knees that pop out of socket since I was 15 years old, a right shoulder that is equivalent to a dislocated shoulder and pain without relief for approximately 20 years, I have been finally diagnosed with hypermobility. The one thing that we are still questioning is that when blood tests were ran, my rheumatoid factor came back twice the normal limit but there was no inflamation detected (such as in arthritis). I have had the same test conducted three times with the same results. Has anyone ever had similar results? All responses will be greatly appreciated!!!

Sorry, my rheumatoid factor was perfectly normal last time I had it tested (about 3 years ago)

Yes, my rheumatoid factor has been high (twice normal like yours) every time ever tested since 1996. It gets tested annually when I have a physical. I am extremely hypermobile and have had problems in my wrists and ankle joints, and now lower back. But no actual symptoms of arthritis.
