Hi anyone,
I have not been confirmed with Ehler Danlos but I have done alot of reading via the internet for the past year. On top of hypermobility in my fingers, dislocating shoulders, hip pain, foot pain, I also have the soft velvety skin. I have had a bout with siatic nerve and see a chiropractor once a month to keep my "bones lined up" so it does not happen again. I am now 55 years old and have suffered with the dislocating shoulder problem since I was in high school. Now my hair is falling out!!! I am so distressed over this. I think what else can happen? Does anyone out there have the same problem with hair loss? Is there anything that can be done about it? I am concluding that the scalp is covered with skin so now the skin is losing more collagin and therefore I will be bald so soon. I already have bald areas on both sides of my scalp and it is thinning on top in the front. Is this happening to anyone else? Waiting to hear. Tobi
