I was wondering if anyone else with hypermobility had experienced problems with bone spurs (exostoses)? I had some x-rays when my HMS first kicked in, and was told then that a lump on my foot (it's easy to see/feel) was actually bone, and was caused by a hairline fracture that didn't heal right. That lump had already been there for years, so it was too late to do anything about it. But I've developed another, after another accident December, and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about how I could stop the 'bony bump' progressing this time. My older 'bony lump' really interferes with the functioning of the foot, and I'm not looking forward to that happening with this new 'bony lump' on my leg.

I have a little piece of bone just above my left elbow on the inside of my arm. It was x-rayed when I was a child, and I don't remember if there was any explanation for it. It feels like 1cm across and sticks out about 1cm. You can't see it.
