There's a message with loads of replies about sex basically and I asked an honest question because I was looking for some suport and when I came back to see if
there was any replies to the post I had sent I found out that the message was taken off the board. All I wanted to know was if there was any other gay people out
there who like me have hypermobile joints (I have just been diagnosaed with arthritis by the way) so I could have a chat. I feel like a minority within a minority.
Please do not get rid of this message, you can't honestly tell me I am the only person on this whole site who is gay.

Have you tried doing any internet searches using "homosexuality" or "chronic pain" or other synonyms to expand your search?

In a number of communities in the US, there are Gay & Lesbian Support Groups. A related group is PFLAG (parents & friends of lesbians & gays). (They are
loosely affiliated with Unitarian Universalist churches, although not necessarily a part of the UU church.) Depending on where you are, perhaps you could check out
these groups. Someone there may be experiencing other types of chronic pain also and would want a friend in the same situation. (UU churches are all over the
world, and they also don't judge people for who they are, although the "flavor" and demographics between churches varies widely.)

Good luck! (from a hetero, life-long UU)

When I first came on here my message didn't show and I got in a tantrum, please forgive me! Thank you Gwen, it's lovely to get some support and to know that you
understand how I feel. Sorry once again,
Love Paula

Hey there Paula. Stick in there, I know what it's like when you come up against social barriers but I'm always here for a chat if you want. I don't have hypermobile
syndrome but I have EDS and I know exactly what you mean about the minority within a minority thing. So come on, keep this line going and lets get some more
people here to round up support.
Lots of love,
Sandy
