Hi, this is a bit of personall question, but are any of you lady sufferers what is politly reffered to as well endowed in the chest area? I ask because I heard somewhere
that bust growth is determined by the ligaments, and I happen to be a lot on the top heavey side. I just wondered if this is just my bad luck (as it causes great strain
on my already weak back) or if its yet another symptom of hypermobility.
Hope I don't offend anyone.
Thanks, Travy.

I'm average size. I've got the weak back though, too. Currently working with a physical therapist on strengthening exercises. Have you consider breast reduction
surgery?

I'm about average-ish.
Does anyone notice more elastic-like skin there than elsewhere?

And how. I've always been a bit above average, and after two kids, there's noticeable skin stretching and things don't quite ... well, hold up the way they used to.

Definitely not well endowed! Have preogressed from 'lemons' in my youth to 'poached eggs' with maturity. I don't think ligaments can determine bust size but could
well affect whether you are high or low slung. If you have defective collagen the elasticity is lacking in your ligaments and we all know what happens to our knickers
when the elastic starts to sag!

I'm 'top heavy too', but don't know if it's EDS related - never been told is was - just expensive and painful!!!!!!!

Don't know, I outgrew my mum and sisters by two cupsizes...

This was discussed on one of the EDS email lists several years ago. The range in breast size ran the gammut from barely there all the way up to big enough to make men stupid.
There is currently a discussion of breast reduction surgery on the CEDA email list. Large-breasted women are more prone to back problems in the general population. EDS just makes that even more pronounced.
I personally noticed an increase in back problems as I went from a 34B to a 38DD. (Rapid growth triggered when I went off birth control.)
