I am a 47 year old female with EDS, Hypermobility. I have had all kinds of problems with my joints and discs in my spine. I have had fusions and a total knee replacement. Now my teeth and gums have decided to join in. My teeth have never held fillings well and the fillings would break off with the teeth. Now the crowns have decided to break off with what remains of the tooth. They are breaking off right under the gum line which is receding and several of my real teeth are loose. My teeth look horrible and my mouth hurts. Does anybody know if there is a connection? Or have a similar problem?

Since its about a million years ago that this mess was posted you will most likely not read it Jill but I do know what you mean. Since my first precnancy my gums and jawjoint (great) have decided to join the club. It's exactly like you descripe. How is it possible that just when you think theres n joint left that can start bugging you there seems to be one that pops up and reminds you. Grr.
