Does anyone have experience of myofascial pain? I have been trying out new orthotics (for my feet) and am getting pain in my legs which is moving up into my back. When I see the podiatrist next time I shall say that the orthotics are not right yet.

I wonder if the pains are myofascial pain? For example, there is a sore point in my calf which gets better if I press the sole of my foot just in front of the heel.

I had exactly the same thing happen with orthotics. Paid $400 and never could wear them. I have both hypermobility and fibromyalgia - the latter often linked with myofascial pain, tender points and trigger points - but I don't really know which made it impossible for me to wear othotics.
