Hi Everyone
My name is Debbie I was Diagnosed 10 years ago as having HMS. I suffer with most of my joints but mainly my back. I was in full time employment until 4 years ago when I had to quit due to having to have a back operation. So unfortunately I had to claim benefit I was awarded Disability living allowance Middle rate for care and High rate for getting around It came up for renewal in December and They cut back my care to low rate even though my condition is getting worse and not better. Has anybody else experienced this difficulty.

yes i am getting diability living allawance and they are not renewing it as they say i am not bad enough. i am appealing but its so anoying that they dont beleive your in pain

I have just had my DLA reduced from high mobility rate and middle care rate to just the lowest care rate, I am furious! I haven't got any better! LOL
it is now going for review, hopefully it wont go to appeal, I went through 2yrs of fighting for it before I dont think I can cope with doing that again.
