Hi Everybody,
Just wanted to share some information with you that has been helpful for me.
First of all, I recently bought the book "Peace, Love, and Healing" from Dr. Bernie Siegel and have really enjoyed reading it. I also bought his meditation tape titled "Personal Reflections and Meditations: A Journey Through Four Guided Meditations for Physical and Spiritual Healing"
I have really enjoyed doing the meditation as it relaxes my body and mind and also takes me on a beautiful adventure.
Anyway, if you're interested you can check out the reviews yourself for them at http://www.amazon.com
Also, I recently came across an interesting website on connective tissue disorders. If you're interested in checking it out see:

I find that last site disturbing. Not only on the part that the site contributes connective tissue disorders to nutrition deficiencies instead of genetics conveniently ignoring that the genes for some of them have actually been mapped. There might be a point in nutrition having some effect on the development of an unborn child (though I personally do not think that my mom's eating habbits have anything to do with my joints luxating on a daily basis). But I find it very disturbing to virtually tell people that are very vulnerable because they suffer from a disease that causes them a lot of pain and disabilities and can make them feel very insecure, that this disease might just be their own fault, or their parents'.
If the nutrition issue were an established fact, if the author of the site had had any medical background whatsoever, if there had been extensive research into the subject, which is not the case. I would still advise people to be careful with what they say. To for one second think about the consequences of the way in which they present what they think might be the truth.

I am getting more angry every second! Just reading the article on 'Anxiety' on this site. The author is quoting from an article I happen to have read. I find the way she twists around the data in there shocking. She actually reaches conclusions litteraly contradicting facts in the original article.
I would be very happy to demonstrate this to anyone interested.

Hi Mei,
I'm sorry this site has disturbed you so much. I just thought it was interesting how she mentions that some symptoms for connective tissue disorders might be also due to vitamin/nutritional deficiencies... I haven't read her article on anxiety yet, just the one on nutrition. And you're right, she's not a doctor and she mentions this on her site.
Everyone who reads information from the internet must realize that this information can be posted by anybody. And must consult with their doctors and do research themselves before taking any medical advice on the internet to heart.
