My 16 year old daughter has very loose ligaments and frequently dislocates joints (diagnosed as having weak connective tissue!) 6 months ago she developed a black spot in the centre of her line of vision and two weeks later lost some peripheral vision. The spot doesn't move and doesn't usually change (changed to white this weekendbut back to black now). Her peripheral vision has improved bu thte spot remains (not a floater). Her eye exams look normal and the doctors are baffled. Does anyone know if this could be related to the connective tissue problems?

Hi, back in December I posted the message about a black spot in my daughter's eye. She has now developed one that looks exactly the same (to her anyway) in her other eye. She describes both spots as targets - a black spot with a white ring around it and a black one around that. She says when she reads that each spot covers at least one word (not big I know) and it is driving her nuts. The doctors don't seem to think its connected to the connective tissue thing but who knows - does anyone out there?
