Hi all, I have recently come to learn in the last couple of years that I have EDS III or hypermobility. One of the things that I have constantly experienced in grinding in my left shoulder by my neck. Everytime I even make a slight movement I have major grinding that is very painful. I have also woken up several times and have not been able to move my neck as it was sooo painful. I have gone to emergency for this and the doctor told me I basically had whiplash without being in a car crash but did not know what to do to really help me other than give me pain killers and told me to go to my family doctor. Unfortuneately my family doctor has no idea what to do with me and I stopped going to physio as my physiotherapist said that she was afraid to touch me. My left shoulder is also much lower than my right and I have been told I have collapsed shoulders but don't know what to do about it. Has anyone else had similar experiences with their shoulder and neck and what have they done about it? Any suggestions or feedback?!!
Best Regards,
Keri
