Yes, it's another of those "Has anyone else..."-messages.
My sense of pain seems to be a little mixed up. It has always been like that but I never thought it was unusual. But now my mom says it is, is it? and if so has it got to do with HMS/EDS. E.g. when I scratch a small scab on my upperleg it feels like someone sticks a needle in my upperarm. Or when I have an inflammated toenail I can't determine without looking which toe is inflammated, even when I look at the toes and spread them I still feel the pain in the inflammated toe aswell as the toe that touched it.
