I have HMS and was curious if anyone else has low B12. I eat fairly healthy, so I was surprised when I was tested and found I was at the very low end of the range for my B12 level. Also, I found out I needed Folic acid as well. Just wondering if there is a link to HMS and the body not absorbing the right vitamins????

I also had vitamin deficiencies and required injections of B12 and Folic supplements. (They could never determine why I was deficient, and attributed to the EDS.

I also have low B12, have you been tested for pernicious anaemia? I tested neg. so no reason for me to be deficient, as I also eat very well.
I have needed injections also. This is interesting, could be a link here?

Pernicious anaemia is an autoimmune disorder and could explain the ANA test.
