I am 21, recently diagnosed with HEDS, and I will be having scoliosis surgery at the end of this summer. I am very worried about this anyway and being told I have HEDS hasn't exactly helped calm me down (even tho it's answered loads of questions!).

Have any of you had scoli surgery? Can you give me any advice on how to best deal with the surgery, as I am 21 I am older than you should be anyway (ideal age for scoli surgery 14-16).
