Has anyone on this board heard of a supplement called ligaplex? While searching on the web for information regarding hypermobile joints I discovered that this supplement is supposed to "strengthen weak ligaments and help hypermobile joints". There are alot of sites that advertise ligaplex. It sounds to good to be true but I would love to know if anyone has tried this and what the results were.

First of all what ingredients are in ligaplex. You can have supplements independently researched at Keith Brewer International Science Library. There number is 608-647-6513. The library is written up on p. 210, Prolo Your Pain Away (Hauser). I have not tried ligaplex, but I am researching the area of supplementation.

I've tried ligaplex and it's definitely not a cure all. It simply has the basics for good joint maintenance...vitamin C, zinc, magnesium, etc.

On Ligaplex...I might add that there is cow brain componenets in this supplement. A bit scary if you think about mad cow disease etc.

I tried this stuff until I noticed in the ingredients that yes, it does contain cow brains! Not something I want to be ingesting, esp. when this stuff has no FDA approval or consistency standards. It also has a very nasty after taste. It didn't make me feel any better, but I noticed some 'twinging' in my shoulder joints.
