Does any one find their ligament laxity improves at night if they leave the lights on when their asleep ?
this might sound crazy but amount of light affects the level of melatonin released and i'm curious
thanks

I've been taking extra melatonin every day since July, in an attempt to get my sleep cycle vaguely back to normal. I haven't found that it effects the degree of laxity in my joints either way. But maybe natural melatonin is different to the artificial stuff?

For your information, only natural sunlight (or artificial, yet identically made "sunlight"), has any affect on melatonin levels. Regular light bulbs have no effect of the secretion of the hormone. What is the connection that you know of between melatonin and ligament laxity?
