My six year old is in constant pain. Are there any exercises that help with the pain. Swimming seems to work the best so far.

Hi there!
I have also found swimming to be a great help. I am now 21. I swam a lot throughout high school, but stopped when I started university 3 years ago. I have really felt the difference- my back is so much worse, but stil when I do swim I feel a lot easier.
Apparently Pilates is very good for strengthening the core muscles. I am planning on starting that soon.
Also my physio has given me excersises for specific joints (back, knees, wrists, neck ...). I find they help a lot.
Hope this helps. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for such a young child to not be able to run around and play!
Good luck!

Corkie,
if swimming is working, you might check into hydrotherapy.
