Has anyone tried Feldenkrais as a physical therapy? I've just started going to a new physical therapist who is qualified in both Feldenkrais and conventional physiotherapy. So far, she seems to be much more knowledgeable that anyone I've seen before - she seems good at picking up on which joint is particularly 'loose' or 'clunky' or 'stuck' on a given day, and seems more able to understand a hypermobile body than any other physio I've seen. Unfortunately, the session prices are more than I can really afford to pay (and I'm already getting a 'student discount'!). In the past I've spent a lot of money (and time) seeing therapists only to have them turn around sic weeks, or six months, or a year, later and say they can't help. Has anyone got any advice on Feldenkrais to relate, so I can better judge if it's worth spending the money or not?
