I have missing reflexes in my left leg but these are as a result of an untreated disc rupture and consequent spinal chord damage. The rupture untreated incidentally
because I have a hypermobile spine and didn't fir the "typical" picture of a disc patient, therefore assumed that it was "all psychological" No obvious muscle wastage
but my muscle tone is nowhere near as good as it used to be. This is probably because I have never enjoyed exercise per se and no longer ride horses which was my
principle form of physical activity. Can anyone provide a formula nby which I can convince myself that exercise is fun!

I do not suffer from this but I thought I would reply because there definitely seems to be a lack of response from people lately.

I can tell you this. Muscle waisting can be stopped! Reflexes can and will come back if the right steps are taking. There can be many reasons for your condition. Do
you have any diagnosed medical condition?

I have EDS like most people on this site. I am recieving PT for lower back hypomobility. Two of my vertebrae are fused in my lumbar spine and I have lateral hip
snapping syndrome in the wasting leg. I use the leg as much as the other one and I have not been given an explaination as to why I have lost both muscle and reflexes
in that leg. I am awaiting surgery for my wrist and shoulder and I want the rest of me to be in reasonable shape when the operations are finally done! Any
suggestions???
