I have HMS and also multiple adhesions (internal scarring) from a C-section some years ago which are now causing me a lot of abdominal pain. Are individuals with HMS more prone to developing adhesions? Has anyone else had this problem and if so what treatment was recommended.

I seem to develop adhesions easily in my shoulders and back. I have found massage therapy helps to break up adhesions. This can be painful and uncomfortable, but it works for me. Regular visits help to keep adhesions from developing, by catching them early and allowing muscles to work the way they need to. If a muscle doesn't work properly, another one will compensate and damage itself, doing a job it was not intended to do. This is my experience.
