Has anyone any experience of using this product?
I recently saw an article about it. It is
apparently new to the market and produced by
Natrol Inc. As well as Glucosamine and
Chondroitin, which have been marketed for some
years as collagen enhancers in also contains
Nexrutine which is said to be a naturally occuring
Cox2 inhibitor. For those that don't know Cox2
inhibitors are anti-inflammatory analgesics that
only act on the pain centres and not on the gut
as did the older ones like Brufen and Indocid. I"d
be interested in knowing if anyone has used this
product and what its effectiveness is.

Hi Gwen,

I haven't heard of that product but I did see a doctor recently who practices natural medicine. He did a bunch of blood work on me and found that I'm low on 3 hormones, all of which are necessary for healing soft tissue. They are DHEA, testosterone, and progesterone. He also did a food allergy test on me and found that I'm allergic to cow milk, I didn't even know this because I have drank it all my life. Anyway, from what I understand sometimes we might be allergic to certain foods and not know it because we don't get any obvious reactions. And these food allergies might present themselves in chronic pain because they inhibit the healing of soft tissue in our bodies. I hope this is helpful, maybe you should see a natural medicine doctor who can perform these tests. The doctor I saw is in the Chicago area, check out his website at www.caringmedical.com if you would like more information about him. He also gave me a bunch of supplements to take in addition to the hormones. And I am doing prolotherapy as well.

Silvia
