Hi everyone
I posted a little while ago that I had stopped drinking coffee and started on herbal teas instead(it's about 4 or 5 weeks ago and I have'nt had any since).
So by way of an update I still get as tired as I always did and I don't think there has been a change in the level of pain I get,but my entire family has had an awful cold
and I didnt get it.
So maybe it did help after all.
take care jonathan B

I had to go off coffee for a period last year when I was having GI tract problems investigated. Boy, was it hard for this Caffeine Queen! However I did find that I
slept better so I have now modified my drinking habits and stop the coffee at midday. From then on it's herbal tea or fruit juice( oh yes, and my dinnertime glass of
wine which I find gets me nicely relaxed for bed) I recently read that chocol;ate based drinks aren't good for people who have difficulty sleeping as there is still some
caffeine in chocolate. Warm milk and a banana is what's recommended.

I do eat a lot of chocolate
may be I'm replacing some of the caffiene from the coffee with that from chocolate.
Having said that I LIKE CHOCOLATE A LOT
and I wasn't too fussed about coffee
thanks Gwen

I recently tried a coffee substitute (a freeby from my health food shop) and I was very pleasantly surprised, it's called Bambu.

Another drink I love since I had to give up tea as well is South African Rooibos (pronounced Roy-Boss) Tea, made from a red bush. You can get organice versions, it's caffeine free and can be drunk with milk like normal tea.

Buena gusto, bon appetit, cheers.

Charlie
