I have not been able to turn my neck since my second injection ten days ago. I am taking everything. The muscles have tightened up so bad. Did you have any problems like this? I am really scared. I went to my doctor and has gotton worse since then and he is out of town. I asked him for something for the muscle spasms but he told me to continue to take anti-inflamm and I am going to see a PT on Tues.

Please let me know if you have a chance.
My number (248)865-1571.

Greg,
I am feeling much better. I was not prepared for the inflammation lasting around 15 days. I thought it was supposed to be 3 days. Now that I know it lasts this long I will be better prepared for next time. I am going to try and find something that will ease the pain for next time. Tylenol just did not do anything. If you know of anything let me know. I am beginning to see some results finally after over one year.

It sounds as if this is what happened to you. This has happened to me after prolo. The muscles start spasming after the shots. That pulls your neck out of alignment. Then the muscles constrict around the subluxation making it lock up. My dr. gave me loritab and flexeril to get through my lock ups.(this was prior to prolo my neck did this every other week.) The lock ups would last anywhere from 2 -7 days. My dr also gave me lortabs to take for the couple of days after the shots so it was easy to get through them. The inflamation from the prolo is 3-4 days. In my opinion if it was 15 days out, it was something else. good luck

Tracey,
Did you have the sodium morruate? The dextrose di d not do anything for me. I had two sets of sodium morruate and got scared when the inflammation would not go away. I think the doctor gave me too much 1.5 CC (or so he says). That is why I never went back. He did not have enough experience. I think I am the only person that could not be tightened up. Nothing has worked so far.
