I am curious if any one here has ever had blown out joints through Prolotherapy ?

I am not trying to scare any one I just though it might be an idea to try and find out which areas
might be causing joints to get worse or blow out so we can avoid them and the expense.

It's only happened to me one and someone else I've know recently but the fact it does happen concerns me.

For one thing aside from avoiding those areas , what affect does a blown out joint have on the areas that were treated ?

If you had it injected with a certain solutions would the same solutions be as effective second time round , would any ?

I am am still waiting to see the results of this persons injections to see what happens ..

Zack,

I think your post is a little unclear. Are you talking about "blowing out" a joint as a result of prolotherapy, or treating a blown out joint with prolotherapy? Specify and I'd be glad to share my two plus years worth of experience.

greg,

Sorry about the delay , yes what I meant was prolotherapy , or rather the doctor whose using it
being the instigator in causing joints to get get pulled out and damaged.

Would this be because the ligaments attached to the joints were so torn that the needle ripped the final strand? I, too, was concerned about this risk. How would one know if the ligament sprain was this bad?
